A hand-made, original linoprint for dog lovers

I created this print as a wonderful reminder to 'be more dog', and start your day with a morning mantra that's the perfect springboard for a joyful day.

It celebrates how dogs are experts at living in the moment, so this super happy dog is full of beans and positivity, because that's what dogs do naturally... but sometimes we humans need a gentle reminder to do the same! Morning affirmations are proven to rewire your brain to strengthen beneficial neural pathways and cultivate a positive mindset for the day ahead.

How this print was made

This print is a 1 colour linoprint printed on acid free Zerkall Extra Smooth 145gsm paper.

Hand-printed on a mechanical relief press, it is an open edition & each one is individually signed.

The illustration is transferred onto the lino block which is stained green to make it easier to see where cuts are made. The design is hand carved into the lino block with special sharp gouges. Carving around the letters is particularly fiddly - one slip of the gouge usually means starting again! Once carved, the block is inked up with traditional oil based ink. They are printed one by one on a simple mechanical relief press. They are then hung up to dry which takes a few days. Each print is then signed and mounted.
